Black Player deposits, training and tuition fees.
The soccer year runs from August 1st through to July 31st of the
following year. For cancellations or refunds requested less than 90 days
prior to the start of that soccer year, or once the soccer year has
begun, no refunds will be issued under any circumstances, as other
players may have been rejected on the basis of the your commitment,
demonstrated by payment of a deposit fee. Once the program year has
begun, some credit may be refunded at the discretion of the FC Black
subcommittee. Credit is defined as the balance of all charges accepted
by a family at the start of the program after commitments for physical
costs including uniforms, warm-ups, bags etc have been deducted, but
specifically excluding league and tournament entrance and coaching fees
when decisions to enter these have not been made and communicated to
players and families at the time a player withdraws from the program.
This level of financial
commitment is considerable, but necessary to avoid players and families
left on the team having to shoulder an unreasonable risk due to a change
of heart from other families. Please note that there are no exceptions
to this policy.
